Mission Veterinary Partners (MVP) has an immediate opportunity for an IT Deployment Technician to become a valuable member of our growing Information Technology team. As IT Deployment Technician you will bring new practices into MVP following proper IT process and procedure and then transition them to daily IT support.  
Reporting to the IT Project & Deployment Engineer the IT Deployment Technician will be an integral part of the new hospital experience and the relationship they have with IT.  This individual will work collaboratively with the operational integrations team, the practice, and other departments within MVP to coordinate delivery of services, perform network related work, and educate the practice on the technology that we support. The ideal candidate will be organized, an excellent communicator, have a background in information technology, and have a passion for client experience.
***This position requires 50% travel to our veterinary clinics throughout the United States***
How you will make an impact:
The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive.

  • Facilitate multiple IT integration projects daily
  • Assist with IT integration projects onsite and/or remotely including but not limited to, network replacement, computer installation, and educating the staff on the technology MVP supports
  • Own IT communication and onboarding for assigned sites
  • Responsible for managing integration issues with timely communication and escalations
  • Collaborate with the IT project lead, practice staff, operations integrations, or IT management for integrations as needed
  • Create and maintain IT Deployment documentation as required
  • Provide technical support to end users as required
  • Other IT related duties as assigned
  • Special projects as assigned
  • Other tasks as requested by direct Manager
  • 50% or more travel is required
Talents you will bring to MVP:

  • Associate degree with relevant coursework in computer science or a related field
  • Two years of related work experience in project management, vendor management, workstation system support, infrastructure, or networking.
  • Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
  • A valid U.S. driver's license
  • Ability to participate in all phases of a project life cycle
  • Ability to lead phases of a project life cycle
  • Experience working with others in a customer service setting
  • Organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to facilitate multiple projects at once
  • Self-motivated and directed - independent worker; effectively prioritize and multi-task
  • Good data analysis and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proven experience in developing and building relationships with non-IT and IT customers
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently with shifting priorities and multiple constraints
  • Excellent problem solver and technology troubleshooting
  • Ability to travel is required by car or airplane
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7 & 10
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory (user maintenance)
  • Working knowledge of Windows Servers (2008, 2012)
  • Working knowledge of LAN / WAN connectivity
  • Basic Understanding of VoIP
