Join the Preferred Podiatry Group family as our Practice Manager! Based in Chicago, but working across a national footprint, we are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Practice Manager that will partner with our Doctors, Regional Medical Directors and Executive team to meet our goal of providing exceptional care in the long term care and assisted living community. What our Practice Manager Does 
  • Provider Credentialing and Licensing—ownership of the process of credentialing and licensing for our Doctors and managing the relationship with credentialing vendors—the goal is to have our Doctors credentialed with the top five payers prior to start and to assist in licensing in new states as needed. We are looking for an expert here! 
  • Provider Medical Supply Requests—responsible for ordering and coordinating with our Doctors to be sure they have the PPE they need, now more than ever. This takes a diligent person to keep our Doctors in gear so they can focus on what is important—providing exceptional patient care. 
  • Diabetic Shoe Program – Managing the Diabetic Shoe Program so our providers have timely access to Shoes to Deliver to Patients in need. 
  • Provider Testing – Coordinating with our doctors to make sure they are tested for COVID-19 and other seasonal flus / viruses.  
  • Project Management is essential—other projects to advance and allow our Doctors to focus on patients will be assigned as needed. Be willing to roll up your sleeves to streamline and manage projects.  
What it takes to join the family 
  • Five or more years in a credentialing focused role. Expert knowledge of how the credentialing and licensure process works in the healthcare space. 
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with the goal of optimizing the credentialing process to ensure we are able to bill for services provided.  
  • Strong management skills and previous experience managing an outsourced vendor.  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Detail-oriented individuals who are team players highly self-motivated. 
  • Sharing our core belief system of Honesty, Candor and Trust is table stakes for joining the family. 
  • Adaptable to change and willingness to learn. 
  • College degree is required.
