RYVAN Recruiting is looking for a Construction Superintendent in the Ft Myers / Naples area who will be responsible for assisting the Project Managers with the coordination and completion of multiple Division 5 construction projects with a focus on custom metal fabricated products for commercial projects. The Superintendent must be able to travel between locations and some overnights may be required.
Responsibilities:
Provide ongoing assistance to the Project Manager by tracking project milestones, managing resources, and adjusting schedules to align with project goals and client expectations.
Oversee and coordinate daily construction activities, ensuring that all onsite personnel, including subcontractors and vendors, adhere to project timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols.
Conduct daily evaluations of project progress, generating comprehensive reports and updates for management to ensure transparency on the project's status, risks, and achievements.
Regularly inspect work for adherence to project specifications, building codes, and quality standards. Address any issues proactively to maintain project integrity and reduce rework.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with third-party vendors and subcontractors, facilitating communication and providing direction to ensure that work is completed to specifications.
Update changes to project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring all adjustments are properly documented and approved through established verification techniques.
Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, minimizing disruptions and ensuring smooth project flow.
Communicate directly with clients as needed, clarifying project details and specific requirements to ensure alignment between client expectations and project execution.
Develop and maintain all project-related documentation, including spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps, to support clear communication and continuous improvement.
Track and measure project performance using established tools and techniques, ensuring all goals are met effectively and efficiently.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
4+ years working experience in project management within the Construction Industry
Division 5 - Miscellaneous Metals preferred
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
Proficient with multi-unit, commercial and residential projects
Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills
Strong working knowledge of Bluebeam, Procore and Microsoft Office
