Job Description

Job ID#:

1780

Job Category:

Information Technology

Position Type:

Full-time/Perm

We are working with an innovative Financial Services company focused on disrupting a segment of the industry that really needed it, with their leading-edge financial data and analytics software product   They are currently seeking a UX Designer to join their product design team based out of the Greater Philadelphia Area.  This position will be remote for at least the remainder of the year (2020) and then have an opportunity to work out of their Fort Washington, PA or NYC offices on a hybrid on-site/remote schedule.

The UX Designer will work with a cross-functional application development team making software for both internal and external users of their core analytics product.  This is a collaborative team, iterating on solutions and delivering with quality on a regular cadence.  The UX Designer will work with users, Product Owners and a team of application developers to translate requirements into the necessary deliverables (sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups or prototypes). This will involve conducting user research, interviews and surveys, in order to ensure a great user experience and iterate upon the design.

One major initiative for this Design team is to formalize the Design System for their applications.  This is a unique opportunity for this UX Designer to be able to help craft that system and ensure an optimal user experience for both internal and external users.  Overall, the entire company has a very “engineer-based” culture and compared to other financial organizations where technology is a support role, this company really puts technology in the driver’s seat.
