Our client is a leading managed services and consulting firm who offers IT solutions to high profile businesses worldwide. They are currently targeting to identify a new Senior Support Services Engineer to join their growing team. This new team member will be an accomplished technical professional with proven expertise in supporting client/server-based networks (primarily Microsoft Windows and Active Directory), troubleshooting hardware, strong network troubleshooting skills, installing software, and managing projects. The ideal candidate is results-oriented, organized and has the ability to lead individuals to accomplish tasks. 
 
Responsibilities:
- Communicate clearly with clients in person, by phone and ticket system updates
- Engage with customers to ensure technical problems are resolved to satisfaction
- Document issues and configuration changes through customer ticket and documentation database
- Collaborate with team leader and account management to recommend and implement approved IT
solutions for clients
- Perform audits and onboarding projects for clients
- Participate in on-call and weekly shift rotation
- Onsite work as necessary
 

 
Job Requirements

 

Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience required
- Experience at a managed services company required
- Computer Science or Engineering degree and work experiences a strong plus
- Excellent communication skills and team-oriented focus
- Great customer service and client management skills
- Proficiency with all Microsoft software, workstation and server platforms
- RMM software, Exchange, SharePoint and SQL Server experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and administration background in Microsoft Windows Server platforms and
Active Directory domains
- Strong troubleshooting and administration background in networking
- Experience with Dell/HP Servers, desktops and laptops, printers, Cisco/Dell/HP network switches,
SonicWall firewalls
