Adobe Marketo Contractor Summary - Looking to identify a resource to oversee and manage the implementation of Adobe Marketo. Willing to support West Coast working hours.


  • Implementing and managing marketing automation systems using Adobe Marketo.
  • Collaborating with marketing teams to create and execute automated campaigns.
  • Analyzing data and optimizing workflows to improve marketing performance.
  • Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in marketing automation.
  • Ensuring compliance with data protection regulations in all automation processes.

 
Job Requirements

 
Details:

Resource"s experience should align with the following: 

- Proven track record of Adobe Marketo implementations for B2B companies (ask for case studies or references). 

- Marketo Certified Expert (MCE) or higher (e.g., Marketo Certified Solutions Architect). 

- Familiarity with Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem and how Marketo fits in. 

- Strong knowledge of Marketo Smart Campaigns, Programs, Smart Lists, and Tokens. 

- Ability to set up and optimize nurture campaigns, lead scoring, and segmentation. 

- Experience integrating Marketo with CRM systems (in our case, Microsoft Dynamics) 

- Familiarity with data governance, deduplication, and database management. 

- Understanding of Marketo Landing Page and Email Template customization (HTML/CSS) 

- Ability to map business goals to marketing automation strategy. 

- Experience designing lead lifecycle models and revenue funnels. 

- Expertise in engagement programs, ABM (Account-Based Marketing), and personalization. 

- Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and other data privacy regulations relevant to marketing automation 

- Clear implementation methodology (e.g., phased rollout vs. full migration) 

- Ability to provide a project plan, milestones, and timelines 

- Strong communication skills for working with marketing, sales, and IT stakeholders 

- Willingness to train internal teams on Marketo best practices 

- Documentation deliverables (campaign setup guides, process flows, playbooks
