Job Description

  • Should have excellent written and verbal communication   
  • Technical team handling experience
  • Good exposure on virtualization concepts and cloud technologies Azure and AWS.
  • Should have hands on experience on Azure virtual Desktops.AVD.and Citrix VDI and VMware Horizon.
  • Good exposure on monitoring tools (Azure Insights /SCOM)
  • Good Exposure to ticketing tools (SNOW, etc.)   
  • Good troubleshooting skills on Windows Client OS such as Windows 10 and Windows 11 and windows servers OS.
  • Excellent understanding of infrastructure administration. 
  • Good exposure on Networking and Storage concepts in Azure.
  • Good exposure on FSlogix.  

 
Job Requirements
 

  • Plan, develop, and configure Azure Virtual desktop infrastructure from conceptualization through stabilization using various Azure tools, methodology, design best practices, etc.
  • Architect and design robust Azure AVD solutions aligned with client requirements, including network configuration, security policies, and user access management.Hostpools and capacity management to design the host pools accordingly
  • Must have other VDI solutions like VMware Horizon and Citrix in the area of implement and design, operations, and migrations.
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise to project teams during AVD implementation and ongoing operations
  • Monitoring, troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure issues in Azure cloud,
  • Hands-on deployment of AVD hashtag#infrastructure on Azure, including host pools, application groups, session hosts, and user profiles
  • Configure and manage AVD components like AzureActiveDirectory (AAD) integration, Just-In-Time (JIT) provisioning, and image management.
  • Good understanding of Azure Virtual desktop.Hostpools, Pooled AVD personal AVD, Remote apps.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot AVD environments, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks or connectivity issues
  • Analyze AVD usage patterns and identify areas for optimization to improve performance and cost efficiency.
  • Implement automation scripts to streamline AVD management tasks and reduce operational overhead.
  • Act as a primary technical contact for clients regarding AVD queries, troubleshooting, and support.
  • Experience in keeping cloud environment secure and proactively preventing downtime
  • Ability to work both independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Perform routine infrastructure analysis and evaluation on resource requirements necessary to maintain and/or improve SLAs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, customer service and people skills
  • Good knowledge in determining associated security risks and mitigation techniques.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Own the design documentation of solution implemented i.e. High Level Low Level Design documents.
  • Perform routine infrastructure analysis and evaluation on resource requirements necessary to maintain and/or improve SLAs.
  • Participating in rotating schedule and monthly maintenance activities like server patching would be helpful   
  • Provide restorative or maintenance actions to resolve end-user issues   
  • Assist with special project work as needed   
  • Ability to work a 24 x 7 schedule required   
  • Passion, ambition and drive to work in an extremely demanding customer service environment   
  • Must have good knowledge of Cloud technologies like Azure, AWS.Resource groups , Vnets, Storage accounts,
  • Outstanding customer orientation, i.e., ability to build rapport and trust quickly and to influence an audience through communication to arrive at the best solution   
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, i.e., active listening, ability to clearly summarize an issue, both in writing and verbally   
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, i.e., ability to apply a highly logical and well-organized approach to the analysis and resolution of issues
