Job Description

This role is an active member of the S/4 NA Operation Support Team, with the main objectives being to assist in support of the locations running S/4 as their ERP platform and active engagement in the testing /training activities for sites implementing S/4.

Job Requirements

Key Objectives:
  • Assist in monitoring the incoming tickets and emails
  • Perform daily tasks in the global ticketing system
  • Issue resolution for incidents and problems for live units in S4 
  • Service and Change Request management
  • Design, configure, test, and train business solutions in collaboration with Solution Team
  • Participate in Hyper Care and take over location support from Project Team
  • Dedicated and high-focused business support during period end closing
  • Actively engage in continuous improvement efforts
  • Proactively pursue operations support process improvements and initiatives
  • Work with end users to define issues, requests, and requirements
  • Manage test script documentation control
  • Assist in creation/changes of test scripts
  • Assist in execution of UAT 
  • Manage UAT test data for daily reporting
  • Manage training material documentation control
  • Assist in creation/changes of training materials
  • Manage LSM authorization documentation
40% Functional Support for incidents, problems, questions from Key Users
40% Functional Support for change requests from business
20% Project participation 
  • 3-5 years in compatible role
  • IT/Business Degree or Equivalent
  • Functional or Technical related work experience with same/similar Business Applications
  • Understanding of technical environment of business applications
  • Configuration experience
  • Basic debugging skills
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Solid understanding of business processes related to business applications
  • Strong systems literacy with ability to quickly learn new system functionality and become a Super User
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (heavy focus on Excel and Power Point)
  • Basic knowledge of project management within IT, preferably with ERP implementations
  • Basic knowledge of change management procedures within IT
  • Experience in document control
  • Customer oriented through striving to understand business needs and providing appropriate support
  • Proactive approach to problem solving 
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work cohesively as independent team member in a remote work environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Fluency in English
