Job Description

As part of the Network Operations, the Team Lead, L3 Network Operations is responsible to drive the BAU operation in the L3 team - improving existing infrastructure, extending the service portfolio or introducing new services. 
The Team lead also to support other team members within the team and get engaged in more complex operational issues and focus to network as a service.

Job Requirements

The team"s main responsibility is the management of the 
ˇ         WAN (SDWAN)
ˇ         LAN (local area network)/WLAN
ˇ         DDI services (DHCP and IP address management) 
ˇ         Firewall management
ˇ         And any additional services which might be added to the future. 
Main Responsibilities:
    Act as the 'go to' person within a department or function for questions and problems within his/her area of expertise
    Obtain or provide approval for changes, processes and policies.
    Support group or individual decision-making processes 
    Handling daily mid and high level escalations
    Support the team members in their daily technical questions
    Monitoring the daily network issues and assign the tickets/issues within the team to keep the network tickets on low number and within SLA
    Participate in internal network & security projects 
    Support architectural decision
    Operation of corporate network / Incident and problem management (only 3rd level support, oncall)
    Vendor management and escalation
    Define procedures or standards, since he/she has the knowledge of what the right or best way to execute a task would be.
    Provide recommendations for procedural improvements.
    Provide input for the design and construction cases and scenarios and may also validate executed test results.
    Provide input into and execute user documentation and training material.
    Create and maintain network documentation
    Monitoring the KPI handled by the team and act accordingly
    Overview and track the projects, handle the resource allocations with the netops lead team
    Evaluate employees to determine how well they"re fulfilling their job and whether or not they"re meeting company standards for professionalism, attendance, and work performance.
    Supervise all team members to determine how well they function in their jobs on a day-to-day basis.
