Role
We are looking for a Junior Software Developer with good application development experience to join our software development team.
You will work with the Product Manager and bridge the gap between requirements and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.
Responsibilities
- Working for 3rd line support team, maintaining product code.
- Implementing code changes: bug fixing, refactoring, unit tests.
- Working with QA team to ensure delivery of a high-quality product.
- Driving the whole development process of specific requirements.
- Reporting on progress, issues, and problems to the supervisor, providing lessons learned and giving suggestions to optimize the work processes.
- Research on new technologies / solutions.
Job Requirements
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
- Must have 1+ years" experience in object-oriented programming and design gained in a team.
- Exposure to Microsoft Web / Windows application programming experience.
- Exposure to Visual Studio, .NET framework, C#, ASP.NET, LINQ.
- Object oriented design principles and design patterns, algorithmic and logical skills.
- Experience of SQL Server (basic knowledge of database concepts, database architecture and table relationships, restoring databases, medium scripting knowledge, database users/logins and permissions, working experience with SQL Server Management Studio).
- Good in-depth knowledge of Client/Server and Web architectures on Windows.
- Experience implementing SOAP / REST Web APIs.
- ORM experience (Entity Framework).
- Basic experience with Front End development (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/Typescript).
- Exposure with SPA frameworks like Aurelia/Angular/React.
- Strong diagnostic/debug skills and a methodical approach to problem solving.
- Used to work with source control and build processes usual procedures (e.g. branching, merging).
- Able to work quickly, accurately, and flexibly towards defined deadlines.
- Excellent communication in English (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Agile, self-motivated attitude, able to work as part of a team or independently as required.
