Job Description
The NetDevOps team in EMEA is accountable for the full network in campus environment, offices, showrooms, retail stores, distribution centers and our datacenters.
From connectivity to wired to wireless technologies. It is all part of our realm.
- Assist in designing network architectures that meet organizational needs.
- Implement network solutions by configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and other devices.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on complex projects and designs.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functioning.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as software upgrades, patch management, and configuration backups.
- Ensure network security measures are in place and updated regularly.
- Use network monitoring tools to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, topology, and inventory.
Job Requirements
The right candidate holds:
- Bachelors Degree and minimum of 5 years relevant work experience
- Active CCNA level certification or equivalent level . CCNP is a big Plus
- Is knowledgeable with Cisco network infrastructure
- Is knowledgeable with LAN/WLAN/WAN, TCP/IP, Data cabling, Firewall/VPN, Data room infrastructure.
- Is able to participate in 5-10 projects simultaneously dependent on complexity
- Is used to work in an international, fast-paced corporate environment
- Standard Methodology knowledge and sensitivity to trends influencing design in Network infrastructure.
- Is a team player and able to collaborate effectively across teams
- Fluent in Dutch & English language (written and spoken)
- Is willing to work in on-call rotation to support the network environment
- Is willing to implement changes outside regular business hours
