Job Description

 
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Google Cloud Platform, Azure and/or AWS is considered a plus, along with experience with CI/CD practices focus on Infrastructure as Code: GitHub, Terraform, Pulumi and other DevOps tools. The DevOps Cloud Engineer will play a critical role in automating and optimizing our infrastructure operations, ensuring high availability, and implementing scalable and secure solutions.


Responsibilities


  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools. 
  • Develop and maintain scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (focus Pulumi, terraform, CloudFormation). 
  • Manage and support GCP, Azure or AWS cloud environments. 
  • Work closely with development teams to integrate infrastructure builds with application deployment processes (knowledge of Python, PHP, Angular, typescript is considered a plus). 
  • Automate operational processes as much as possible, adhering to the principles of DevOps. 
  • Monitor and improve system performance, reliability, and scalability. 
  • Ensure security best practices are implemented and maintained across all cloud services. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues. 
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends and apply this knowledge to improve our customer's infrastructure. 

 
Job Requirements
 

 Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, is appreciated. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a DevOps Engineer role or similar. 
  • Strong knowledge of GCP/Azure/AWS services and management. 
  • Good understanding or proficiency with CI/CD tools. 
  • Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform. 
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). 
  • Solid understanding of networking, security, and database concepts. 
  • Experience with scripting languages such Bash, or PowerShell. 
  • Experience in programming/development frameworks like Python, Typescript, Angular is considered a plus. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills. 
 
Preferred Skills: 
 
  • Certifications and/or Proven experience with GCP, Azure, AWS are mandatory. 
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack. 
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and GitOps principles.
