Job Description
We are currently searching for an Engineer to join our Connectors team, creating and maintaining high quality software alongside our QA, Dev and Product Management teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- To understand the product business logic and complexity of changes in order to identify potential impact between the project and several integrations with similar systems;
- To estimate his/her work and be able to prioritize work load in order to increase effectiveness and efficiency;
- To design / review and execute the use cases / test cases;
- To constantly communicate with engineering and product owner teams;
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of bug/test case lifecycle management (with tools like TFS, Jira);
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities;
- Adaptability and willingness to understand and learn new products integrated with our product;
- Familiarity with API concepts, REST services, along with experience in API testing using Postman or a similar tool;
- Basic knowledge of database concepts, including SQL Server or PL/SQL;
Nice to have:
- Understanding of Microsoft IIS;
- Basic knowledge of scripting;
- Agile methodology experience is a plus;
- Background understanding of network protocols and hardware;
- Basic knowledge of Linux commands is a plus.
Education and Experience:
- 3+ years testing experience;
- Experience of working in a structured professional software development environment;
- Experience of the Test Life Cycle and the different categories of testing, particularly in an Agile SCRUM environment;
- Bachelor or Master of Science in Computer Engineering or Development;
- ISTQB Qualification is a plus;
- Advanced English.
