Job requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of experience in a Hardware Asset Management/IT Asset Management role.
- Proven experience managing assets across all HAM processes, including New Assets, IMACs, Retirements, and Disposals.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM), including configuration awareness and AMDB/CMDB integration concepts and dashboard creation.
- Proven understanding of how hardware asset lifecycle processes should be designed and configured within ServiceNow- end-user devices, but not limited to. This includes knowledge of lifecycle stages, statuses, state transitions, asset actions, and process controls across procurement, deployment, in‑use, refresh, retirement, and disposal for various hardware asset classes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access, including reporting and dashboard creation.
- Working knowledge of hardware discovery tools such as SCCM, Intune, Tanium, Qualys, or similar technologies.
- An Industry Certification such as Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM) or Certified Hardware Asset Management (CHAMP) will have an advantage.
- Experience working within a managed services environment and collaborating with global or virtual teams.
- Familiarity with other industry-leading IT Asset Management tools is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer-service mindset.
- Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Customer-oriented, results-driven, and capable of working independently as well as within a team.
