Job Description

Stefanini Group is looking for an ITAM HAM Administrator, to complement the technical capabilities of our IT Asset Management Practice within the Infrastructure Services Division.
 
Job responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of hardware assets, including procurement, deployment, moves/adds/changes (IMACs), lease management, refresh, retirement, and disposal.
  • Maintain accurate and complete asset records in the Asset Management Database throughout all lifecycle stages.
  • Create, update, and validate hardware asset records to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Assess hardware data for compliance and accuracy; identify anomalies and drive remediation actions.
  • Perform proactive data reconciliation between discovery tools, procurement records, and asset repositories.
  • Participate in and support internal and external asset audits, including preparation, analysis, and remediation activities.
  • Analyze client contracts, purchase agreements, and lease documentation to ensure accurate asset tracking and compliance.
  • Utilize data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access to analyze asset data, create reports, and support decision-making.
  • Generate monthly operational and governance reports, along with ad-hoc reports for internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Support dashboard creation and KPI reporting related to asset lifecycle, compliance, and service performance.
  • Engage directly with clients, vendors, internal teams, and external partners to collect required asset data and documentation.
  • Ensure professional, timely, and customer-focused communication, including handling challenging situations effectively.
  • Deliver asset management services in line with defined SLAs, KPIs, and customer expectations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the ITAM / HAM practice.
  • Contribute to process adherence and optimization across hardware asset processes.
  • Perform additional HAM-related duties as assigned.
 

 
Job Requirements
 

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in a Hardware Asset Management/IT Asset Management role.
  • Proven experience managing assets across all HAM processes, including New Assets, IMACs, Retirements, and Disposals.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM), including configuration awareness and AMDB/CMDB integration concepts and dashboard creation.
  • Proven understanding of how hardware asset lifecycle processes should be designed and configured within ServiceNow- end-user devices, but not limited to. This includes knowledge of lifecycle stages, statuses, state transitions, asset actions, and process controls across procurement, deployment, in‑use, refresh, retirement, and disposal for various hardware asset classes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access, including reporting and dashboard creation.
  • Working knowledge of hardware discovery tools such as SCCM, Intune, Tanium, Qualys, or similar technologies.
  • An Industry Certification such as Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM) or Certified Hardware Asset Management (CHAMP) will have an advantage.
  • Experience working within a managed services environment and collaborating with global or virtual teams.
  • Familiarity with other industry-leading IT Asset Management tools is a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer-service mindset.
  • Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Customer-oriented, results-driven, and capable of working independently as well as within a team.
