We're seeking a visionary Director of Business Intelligence & Financial Systems to lead our enterprise analytics and reporting transformation, empowering data-informed decisions across the organization.
The Director – Business Intelligence & Financial Systems will be a key strategic leader at the intersection of finance, analytics, and technology.
You will oversee the design, automation, and delivery of enterprise-wide business intelligence solutions, supporting executive decision-making, forecasting, and operational performance.
You'll lead a talented team of BI analysts and developers, manage key systems (including Tableau, Alteryx, Cognos, TM1, and GCP), and drive the evolution of a unified data and reporting ecosystem.
Candidates who succeed in this role enjoy the following:
- Lead enterprise BI strategy: Develop, implement, and manage a scalable, automated reporting ecosystem using Tableau and related tools.
- Partner with Finance & FP&A: Collaborate with the Executive Director of FP&A to deliver dashboards and insights that drive budgeting, forecasting, and operational excellence.
- Manage a high-performing BI team: Guide analysts and developers in designing, building, and optimizing dashboards, self-service tools, and automated reporting workflows.
- Foster collaboration: Partner with Accounting, IT, and Operations teams to ensure consistent data definitions, aligned metrics, and integrated systems.
- Lead innovation: Stay ahead of emerging BI technologies and guide adoption to improve business performance and data literacy across the organization.
Job Requirements
Your previous experience includes:
- 5+ years in business intelligence, reporting automation, or financial analytics, including 3+ years in leadership.
- Hands-on experience with Alteryx, Python, or VBA for data automation.
- Familiarity with GCP, TM1, and Cognos, and experience integrating and optimizing multi-system data flows.
- Solid understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Technical Expertise in BI & Automation Tools: Lead advanced data transformation and reporting initiatives using Tableau (design and server administration), SQL, Alteryx, and Python or VBA for automation.
- Experience in hospitality, gaming, or similarly complex operations is a plus.
SALARY - Up to $150k
