Our client is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join their team. This role is a contract-to-hire opportunity.
Successful candidates excel at and enjoy:
- Consultative engagement: Work directly with partners and clients to scope projects, write Statements of Work, and deliver solutions.
- Architecture experience: Design solutions across compute, storage, network, backup, and cloud strategies.
- Generalist mindset: Ability to handle multiple technologies (VMware, SAN, backup, networking) rather than being siloed.
- Cloud migrations: Experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, AWS (Google Cloud is a plus).
- Security integration: Familiarity with MFA and PKI solutions.
- Client-facing skills: Comfortable in a consulting environment, able to adapt and communicate effectively.
Job Requirements
Your previous experience includes:
- 7+ years of experience (ideal range: 8-12 years) in enterprise infrastructure roles.
- Strong VMware expertise; Hyper‑V experience is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with DR tools, hyper‑converged platforms, and enterprise storage.
- Ability to work independently and hit the ground running-this is not a training role.
- Consulting background preferred.
Salary: $65 per hour - Not Open to California Residents
- At least 20% of travel required
- Must be able to provide own work equipment
