Our client is looking for a hands-on DevSecOps Engineer who can bridge the gap between DevOps, Cloud Engineering, and IT Security. This is not a traditional security role?we need someone who has built and supported modern DevOps environments and understands how to embed security throughout the software development lifecycle. This role is on-site in Draper, UT and is a direct hire opportunity.

What You'll Do

Embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
Implement and maintain SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets scanning, and IaC security tools
Partner with engineering teams to design secure cloud and application environments
Strengthen security across Azure DevOps, GitHub, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud infrastructure
Build centralized monitoring, logging, alerting, and threat detection capabilities
Lead vulnerability management efforts including scanning, risk assessment, and remediation tracking
Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and recommend preventive controls
Help drive security governance, risk management, and compliance initiatives

Job Requirements

What We're Looking For

Required Experience

5+ years of IT Security experience
3+ years of DevOps Engineering experience
Experience securing CI/CD pipelines and software development environments
Strong understanding of cloud and infrastructure security principles
Experience with vulnerability management, remediation, and security incident response
Hands-on experience with security testing tools (SAST, DAST, SCA)

Salary: $100k - $150k W2
